Why doesn’t my Rithmic data work?​

  1. Agreements: Ensure you've signed Rithmic agreements available on their website, or through R|Trader Pro.
  2. Missing Credentials: If credentials are delayed beyond 20 minutes, check spam folder or contact support@bookmap.com.
  3. Connection Troubles: For Rithmic subscriptions via Bookmap, use 'Rithmic Paper Trading' in configuration. If you are using a Plugin mode, make sure you’re using the same credentials in Bookmap and in R|Trader Pro.
  4. Subscription Difficulties:
    • If you have Rithmic through your broker, check with them to enable market order data.
    • Use the ESU0 format; for other products, refer to the symbols table and CME website for expiry details.
    • Ensure your selected exchange matches the symbol, e.g., choose 'CME' for ES.
    • Version 7.0 might lack order book data; 7.1 can detect that and show a message, but 7.0 will just stay in ‘subscribing’ state. Contact your broker if that’s the case.
    • For persistent issues, email support@bookmap.com with the rithmic-engine-log.000 file from C:\Bookmap\Logs.

I cannot run the MBO bundle. I got a message: "This license does not allow using this strategy..."​

First, confirm your license key in the marketplace, then restart Bookmap.

I use Rithmic but can't connect to the SI Sub-Chart, I receive an error about CME MBO data.​

Ensure the “Aggregated quotes” option is unchecked in the Rithmic configuration.

Why doesn't my SI Sub-Chart Indicator work?​

Update to Bookmap 7.4 or higher, use the latest Stops & Icebergs version, and ensure 'Aggregate Quotes' is unchecked.

I connect Bookmap through NinjaTrader with Rithmic data but MBO indicators aren't working.​

MBO indicators are incompatible with Rithmic data via Ninja.

I can't run the MBO bundle due to a licensing error. What should I do?​

  1. You need to sign API agreement at https://bookmap.com/strategies-live first
  2. Sign the API agreement
  • Run Bookmap in real trading mode. It is the third option on the launchpad
  • Go to 'Settings' ➝ 'API plugins configuration'
  • In the window that shows up click a link which takes you to the API activation page
  • Once you are logged in, you will get a form with the agreement text. You need to tick the "I agree" checkbox, click 'Next' and your license will be updated with a live API access
